Aaron Cartwright

Aaron has served as an Elder since 2026. He was born in Michigan but raised in California in a loving Christian household. As the oldest of five siblings—one brother and three sisters—he was saved at an early age and never remembers a time when his family wasn’t attending church and serving in a church. 

His family moved back to Michigan in 1996. Aaron met Carolyn in 1999, and they were married in 2001. Carolyn also comes from a Christian household that is foundational to the current Rives Church. Together, they spent four years in the Air Force, followed by 13 years as a firefighter/EMT. Aaron is currently a full-time pilot for the U.S. Army. They have four boys, A.J. (21), Amos (19), Chase (16) & Carson (5)

He has served with the Rives safety team and hopes to model a God-fearing, servants attitude to his family and the community. Carolyn oversees the hospitality ministry. They hope to help the church in their mission to make disciples and grow in our faith.
